The original Wildc.a.t.s are about to return to Earth, after leaving Khera, with low morale.
In New York Max Cash is seriously injured in an explosion that destroys the bar frequented by ESP, "Clark's".
This bar, which appeared in several stories, is an obvious reference to Superman, recognizable by the logo and the appearance of the owner.
The explosion forces Stormwatch to ally with the Wildcats against the city's organized crime.
The original Team returns to Halo headquarters.

Cole Cash, aka Grifter, leaves for Gamorra with Team7.
Void, Maul, Zealot, and Warblade follow shortly after.

Majestic recognizes Kaizen Gamorra on TV, who is actually John Colt.
The battle between Gamorra's troops and the ESPs is interrupted by a tsunami caused by the Moon's approach to Earth, caused by Damocles.
Spartan begins to remember his previous life as John Colt and ends up clashing with Kaizen Gamorra.
The clash is concluded by the intervention of Majestic, who kills the evil version of John Colt again.

The rest of the WILDC.A.T.s face numerous threats on the streets of New York, coordinated by Tao, the group's new leader.
Cash contacts the various members of the group, offering his help, but they all seem to be able to make do.
On his pilgrimage, he witnesses the kiss between Zealot and John Colt, further depressing him.

Back at the Halo, Grifter tries to kill him, but Savant gets in his way and is seriously injured.

Majestic saves Ladytron, detonating the reactor in space, sacrificing only the cyborg's lower body.
Savant manages to survive the wounds inflicted by Grifter.
Majestic, returning from space after the nuclear explosion, kills Tao.
The funeral is for the traitorous member of the Wildcats.
