While the original team is left for dead in space, Savant (Zealot's sister) on Earth is forming a new team.
At her side is Majestic, who is later joined by Condition Red, alias Max Cash, brother of Cole (Grifter), Tao, a human being created in a laboratory and finally Ladydron, a cyborg ex-criminal.
Tao seems capable of manipulating everyone, with his enhanced intelligence.
The first mission consists of capturing Ladydron, preventing her from yet another robbery.

The original team lands on Khera, the home planet of Emp and Zealot.
The two leaders of the group are welcomed by heroes and accompanied to their homes.
Maul, Warblade and Void are hosted in a hotel, while VooDoo, having Daemonite blood, is relegated to the ghetto reserved for them.
On Earth Tao is convincing Ladydron to collaborate with a virtual simulation.

Void contacts the other members of the group, worried about the disappearance of Priscilla (VooDoo).
Zealot, who has reverted to her original name Zannah, was chosen by her fellow Codas to become their representative to the Cherubic Parliament.
The same was proposed to Emp by the Pantheon.
Spartan is having fun with the other robots identical to him, created to protect the lords of the Pantheon.
When he meets Void, he explains that the Pantheon is comparable to the Republican Party, while the Coda correspond to the Nazi Party.
Maul has found the Troglodytes, his kin, who are the true original race of Khera, but are now treated as pariahs.
Finally Void finds VooDoo, in the ghetto, who reveals to her how the war between Cherubim and Daemonites ended 300 years ago, with Khera's victory.
On Earth the new Wildcats attack a criminal, the robot H.A.R.M. to capture him.
During the fight Max Cole, Condition Red, kills him.

Void and VooDoo inform the other group members about the end of the war.
Maul befriends a female of his race, Glingo, who peacefully fights for the rights of the Troglodytes.
On Earth the Wildcats sneak into H.A.R.M.'s robotic funeral. and capture two of his associates.

Tao seduces Savant, although it is unclear whether he manipulated her with his powers.
Majestic has doubts about the new team's conduct, especially after the attack by Hellstrike, a Stormwatch agent.
On Khera, the team tries to speak with Emp and Zealot, but to no avail.
Priscilla has a clash with Zealot, which puts their friendship in crisis.

Spartan learns of his friends' problems and tries to talk to Zealot about it.
Coincidentally he discovers a plan to kill Emp and Zealot, during their entrance into Parliament.
The Codas attack him and erase his memory.
When VooDoo finds him, in the ghetto, he is semi-destroyed.
On Earth, New York's criminal organizations team up to eliminate the Wildcats.

Glingo sacrifices herself to save Emp and Zealot's lives.

Max Cole is attacked by mafia hitmen, but manages to eliminate them.
