Captain America and Thor brutally beat Apollo and rape him.
Midnighter convinces Iron Man to leave his military career.
Soon after, the Doctor returns and informs his companions of Jenny Quantum's kidnapping.

The origins of Jack Hawksmoor, abducted at the age of 5 by mysterious aliens and subjected to surgical transformations.
In 1976 he was introduced to Jenny Sparks, who found him at a secret Russian science base.
The two scientists who direct it have discovered that Jack is not being kidnapped by aliens, but by humans from the 70th century, who are trying to prepare him to face an incoming temporal threat.
Since it doesn't look like it will be ready in time, Jenny is put in charge of a super-group of augmented people (including the American Avengers just seen in Authority).
In the Pacific Ocean appears the living city of Kansas City, intent on destroying humanity by going back in time.
Nothing seems to be able to stop it, until Jack transforms Tokyo into a living version and destroys Kansas City.

Maul and VooDoo receive a message from Spartan, informing them of Lord Emp's funeral and a future summoning of the Wildcats.
During the funeral Spartan, who has now taken the identity of Jack Marlowe, meets Jackson King who warns him that he will be monitored by Stormwatch.
Halo moves its headquarters to Los Angeles and holds a press conference to announce a new company policy.
Noir now works for Halo, secretly.
Ladytron and Grifter visit Spartan.

In 1969 Elijah Snow saves the life of the world's greatest secret agent, John Stone (Wildstorm version of Nick Fury).
Now Elijah is forced to ask for his help to recover his lost memories.
Stone reveals to him that they worked together on the Nautilus and that the 4 are probably responsible for his partial amnesia.
The conversation between them, as Stone mentions the “1931 Planetary Guide,” triggers some of his lost memories.
Only flashes of memories, including a mysterious tattooed lover and the beginning of his detective training by Sherlock Holmes.
Once over the shock, Elijah admits that he knows the identity of the “Fourth Man.”
