The new Engineer discovers that the bodies of the refugees have been abandoned in Re-Space, a universe where everything is remade from scratch.
Last Call was captured by refugees, who thanks to the incredible properties of the Re-Space evolved and robbed the rich of the world.
They have acquired incredible powers of reality control.
The new Authority attacks them in their dimension and they are defeated.
Thanks to their power, Authority is erased and the old members of the team are reborn in its place.
