She is hiding in Hollywood, but is tracked down by a rogue faction of the Coda, who try to kill her.
The attack naturally fails.

While the rest of the group tries to stop Gamorra's army in Los Angeles, Midnighter reaches the heart of Kaizen Gamorra's palace.
He discovers that his army is made up of clones of his mother and siblings.
To stop him, Midnighter brings the Carrier to our dimension and uses it to bypass the force field and destroy Kaizen and his palace.

John Lynch receives a telepathic message from Lindquist, the scientist they have already met in the past (Wildstorm nr. 1 and nr. 2 in 1997 – Star Comics).
Lindquist asks him for help to save his children (believed dead) and Prof. O’Brien.
Seeing the involvement of Miss O’Brien’s father, the wealthy adventuress, he makes an appointment with her.
Also present at the meeting is Axwell Tiberius, alias Monkeyman, her inseparable partner.
Lynch updates her on the message and they prepare to travel between dimensions to save them.
Miss O’Brien, Roxy, Sarah and Grunge are tricked into an alternate dimension, inhabited by evil and sadistic versions of their friends.
The first to experience their diversity is Sarah Rainmaker, who gets kissed on the mouth by Caitlin.
Miss O’Brien discovers that their atoms are incompatible with that dimension and in a couple of days they will explode like atomic bombs.
