Burt Corrigan tells the others in the group the story of Gehenna.
Many millennia ago, near Jerusalem, there was the pit of Gehenna, where the wicked and sinners were burned.
The Demon Ba'al took control of those sinners and began satanic rituals, until a warrior with indestructible steel killed him.
Ba'al's spirit moved into the gem, but the warrior tore it to pieces.
Logan and the others return to Madripoor, but the reincarnated Ba'al and his vampires pursue them.
The first fight between Wolverine and Ba'al ends in a draw.

Rachel and Kitty return to the Excalibur lighthouse and secure Illyana's Soulsword, locking it into stone with the power of the Phoenix (thus resembling Excalibur itself).
Courtney Ross (Saturnine) tasks Nigel Frobisher to take over Gatecrasher and the Technets.
Kitty finds herself naked in the throne room of another dimension, thanks to Widget, but luckily she goes home immediately (appearing in front of Rachel and Alistair Stuart).
When the time comes to send the Nazi Excalibur back to their dimension, Widget reactivates and takes our Excalibur, with the Nazi train, to another dimension.
