Wolverine reaches Tierra Verde, just in time to witness the clash between La Bandera, a super-hero of Cuban origins who operates in Miami, and Tiger Shark, a super-criminal in the pay of the Kingpin.
Thanks to the intervention of Wolverine, who cuts his costume, Tiger Shark is forced to retreat.
President Guillermo Caridad explains to Geist that the special drug comes from a place where a meteorite fell years ago.

Kitty tells the adventures of Excalibur in a space bar.
During the celebrations for the victory over the evil witch, a fleet of slavers arrives on the alien planet.
Rachel Summers, who temporarily lost her Phoenix powers during her battle with the Pan-Dimensional creature, is captured by the slavers.
Rachel manages to free herself and secretly returns to the planet, participating in a disguised tournament to choose the planet's champion.
Kitty recognizes her immediately, as they share a room.
A killer eliminates all members of Excalibur except Meggan and Rachel.
Phoenix regains its power and together with Meggan they bring their companions back to life, celebrating with the rest of the planet.
Just before departure, Kitty glimpses Corsair's Star-Jammer and Professor X, but it's too late to stop Widget.
