Lindsey McCabe goes looking for Jessica Drew in the seedy neighborhood of Madripoor.
While waiting in a bar, she ends up getting drunk.
One-Eye (Logan), reaches her just in time.
Upstairs in the bar he finds a bunch of murdered criminals and is attacked by Silver Samurai (Mariko Yashida's half-brother).
Silver Samurai also seeks the Muramasa sword, but he didn't kill the criminals.
The massacre was carried out by Jessica, possessed by the evil soul of the sword.
Logan and Silver Samurai fail to stop Jessica, who runs away.
Logan reaches out and takes her sword, but is possessed in turn.

Rachel Summers is attacked by the War-Wolves, metallic creatures in the service of the Majestrix.
To escape the War-Wolves Rachel manages to return to the real world, London.
Meanwhile, Nightcrawler reaches Brian Braddock and sobers him up by throwing him into the sea.
Rachel is attacked by the Technets and the War Wolves, but Captain Britain, Nightcrawler, Kitty Pryde and Meggan arrive to help her.
The group manages to fend off the attackers.
That same evening, the new group decides to work together, taking the name of Excalibur.
