Logan comes back to life in the cradle and is taken into the custody of the Beast, who controls him through a strange plant collar.
Wolverine carries out a series of assassinations on behalf of the Beast.
A few weeks earlier, Wolverine is killed by the Beast in front of the Merchant and the other guests, cutting off his head.
The Beast informs Krakoa's spies (X-Force, i.e. Omega Red, Domino and Deadpool, as well as Sage and Black Tom Cassidy) that they must act more brutally against humans.
The Beast also takes care of Jeff Bannister, Logan's friend, but it is not known how.
The story ends with Hank McCoy talking to Logan's adamantium skull.
