Logan and Puck join Inez's rebels, in company of Ernest Hemingway.
They are pursued by Lady Deathstrike and Nazi troops.
During an air raid Puck is injured and they have to take him to the hospital.
Logan stays behind to cover their escape and confronts the Nazis.

Solitary adventure of Nightcrawler, forced to take a few days off by order of Doctor Strange, after the vampire experience seen in "Wolverine 27“.
While he is reaching the vacation spot with the Braddock plane, he is forced to crash land on an island.
The inhabitants of the island seem to adore the X-Men and Kurt learns that it is the island where Krakoa was born.
Nightcrawler is attacked by the Son of Krakoa, an evolved spore and sole remnant of the mutant island, now orbiting in space thanks to the X-Men.
Kurt manages to defeat the spore by drowning it.
Prelude, now forgotten, to the current saga of the island state of Krakoa, complete with clones of the X-Men grown in the cocoons of the Son of Krakoa!
