The grand finale of the clash between Moira MacTaggart and Krakoa is approaching.
It is revealed how the techno-organic Wolverine managed to travel back in time.
Forge has modified a seed of the Krakoa portals, making it capable of creating passageways in time.
Only Logan's regenerating factor prevents Phalanx from taking control of his body.
Wolverine reveals that his determination is due to the tragic end suffered by the mutants, but he is fighting for all humanity, as Moira will allow Phalanx to take over the planet.
Meanwhile, Moira manages to return to Krakoa, skinning Banshee (Sean Cassidy, her ex-partner) and using her skin to fool a Krakoan joint.
Her goal is to infect Krakoa's nursery with Phalanx, meaning any future mutant versions.
Wolverine and his family try to stop her and succeed, but Logan is hit by Forge's power-stripping weapon and Phalanx takes control.
PS: although in the previews Panini announces the release of a new series of Wolverine (in the USA some miniseries have been released, after "X-Lives"), to date (12 July 2022) there are no signs that this is not the last issue of the series born in Italy in 1989. I hope I'm wrong!
