The story begins with a flashback.
Kingpin each gives an assignment to Emma Frost and Elektra, who work for him.
Emma has to erase the memory of a businessman, while Elektra has to kill a target.
During the mission, Elektra is seen by a black girl.
"Devil’s Reign" explodes, where Mayor Kingpin declares all New York superheroes criminals and has them arrested.
He doesn't have much luck with the X-Men, enjoying Krakoa's diplomatic immunity.
Kingpin decides to hit Emma Frost with his confidential files.

Emma Frost is accused of murder and turns to her lawyers.
While talking to them, declaring himself innocent of the accusation, he remembers another episode of which he is guilty: pretending to be Susan Storm, she obtained a loan of 200 million dollars!
Other tasks carried out for Kingpin she is certain will not be used, as they are too dangerous for Mr. Fisk.
Regarding the alleged victim, it is the little girl, who hid to protect her from Kingpin, at the request of Elektra.
In the past, she managed to save her thanks to Spider-Man, but she erased that memory from Peter Parker's mind.

"Showstopper"

Emma Frost reaches England, where she has hidden the child, but is immediately arrested by Union Jack, who wants to extradite her to New York.
Emma is helped to free herself by Isabelle, the little girl, who has been trained by Elektra.
Back in New York, her lawyers drop the charges, but Kingpin anticipates her and impeaches her for the 200 million.
Emma has to leave New York (they cannot arrest her for diplomatic immunity).
Before leaving, she visits Kingpin, vowing revenge after "Devil’s Reign" ends with his failure.
Despite the banal assumptions of the crossover (nothing that hasn't already been seen, for example in "civil war", not to mention the absurdity of Fisk's legal accusations!), This particular story is interesting and well done.
