Book of 48 pages, in color, first episode of a series.
A man wounded by a gunshot to the head is found on a beach in the United States.
Rescued by an elderly couple and a doctor disbarred from the register for alcoholism, they manage to save his life, but he has completely lost his memory.
During his convalescence, some hitmen kill the elderly couple, but XIII (named after the number tattooed on his neck), manages to eliminate one and put the other to flight.
The only trace in his past is a photograph of him with a beautiful blonde woman, found on the murdered killer.
XIII begins his hunt, discovering that he is wanted by the government to be the material perpetrator of the President's murder and by the assassins sent by the instigator of the previous murder.
The first volume of the series is interesting and with good premises (already disillusioned in the second volume).
