Yorick Brown, Agent 355 and Dr. Mann leave by train to reach Los Angeles.
Hero Brown, Yorick's sister, and Victoria, leader of the Amazons, are chasing them to kill the only man (even though Hero has discovered it is her brother).
Forced to jump from the train, 355 suffers a head injury, while Yorick is rescued by Sonia, who takes him to her village.
Sonia and Yorick fall in love, but the man wants to remain faithful to his girlfriend Beth.
355 is also rescued and brought to the village.
When the Amazons arrive, it turns out that all the villagers are ex-convicts, released from prison after the spread of the virus.
When Victoria tries to kill Yorick, Sonia stops her by throwing an ax at her head.
Hero kills Sonia with her bow.
Yorick, 355 and Dr. Mann continue their journey, leaving Hero and the other Amazons to the judgment of the village.
Meanwhile, in orbit, there are two other men and a woman, who survived the virus because they were already in space when it spread.
