Yorick Brown, Agent 355 and Dr. Mann have finally reached the doctor's laboratory in San Francisco.
Yorick and 355 are attacked by Setauket Ring agents.
They manage to escape, but steal the ring that Yorick bought for his fiancée.
Since the man feels ill immediately afterwards, he is convinced that it was the ring that saved him from the epidemic, so he asks 355 to recover it.
355 confronts the three burqa-clad officers, aided by Hero, who has come to protect her brother.
When 355 discovers that the Setauket Ring killed Agent 711, she loses control and kills them.
Hero reveals that the astronaut has given birth to a boy.
Dr. Mann, in the meantime, treated Yorick, who was suffering only from botulism.
Thanks to the crisis she discovers that his immunity comes from the feces of Ampersand, his monkey, who is mysteriously immune.
Shortly after, a ninja named Toyota steals the monkey.
Hero takes the stool samples to the twin geneticists to develop a vaccine for the newborn, while the others chase the ninja.
Arriving in San Diego, they discover that Toyota has left for Japan, towards Dr. Mann's mother.
