While Dr. Mann begins a relationship with Rose, the Australian spy she met on the pirate ship, Yorick Brown and Agent 355 begin looking for Beth on the streets of Sydney.
Alter, the head of the Israeli Mossad, kills Yorick's mother in an attempt to track him down.
Yorick finds out that Beth has left for Paris.
Hero finds the other Beth at the church in California and discovers that she is pregnant with a baby girl.
In a flashback we discover that Ampersand was infected in Dr. Mann's father's Japanese laboratory and was destined to reach his daughter.
Arriving in Japan, Ampersand manages to escape from the Ninja Toyota.
