Full story.
128-page color book that tells the story of Yor, a primitive warrior in a future post-apocalyptic world.
Juan Zanotto has set many stories in this future, each with its own independent life.
The style is typical of adventure comics from the 70s - 80s (in Italy they were published in weekly magazines such as Skorpio, Lanciostory, Monello, etc.).
As in the movies of those years, the story is slightly erotic (less than others by the same author).
A few female nudes and hints of sexual intercourse, never shown graphically.
Yor grows up in a caveman village, in the ice.
It looks like an ice age, on a young Earth, where Yor represents the new stage of evolution compared to the other villagers (not the women, however! They are VERY evolved!)
Treated like a god, he is offered the most beautiful woman, but Yor falls in love with her pride, not just her looks.
Memories of his origins slowly emerge, when he was found as a child near the remains of a spaceship.
Yor and La Laa decide to leave the village after an attack by a rival tribe.
Yor's journey is long and adventurous, full of battles and romantic encounters, with the details of his spatial origins in the background.
Yor is not the only "visitor" and at the end of his journey he finds the city of his people, Atlantis!
The visitors are the Martian people, who came to Earth to help mankind in its evolution.
But Mars is destroyed by war and Atlantis destroyed by an earthquake.
Only Yor survives the disaster, ready to make a living with his beloved Ka Laa.
A pleasant read, even if dated.
